How can I make a reservation?

You can make a booking by:

Contacting us by telephone

Contacting us via email

All reservations are made by category and not by specific model. EuropcarMilosrent reserves the right in case of no availability to upgrade the customer 

How can I pay for my reservation?

You are able to pay via the following methods:

Cash

Bank Transfer

Credit Card

Car driver should use his credit card for vehicle warranty purposes even if the payment is made in cash.

Full reservation payment is completed when the vehicle is returned.

Is it possible to cancel or alter a reservation?

In case of cancelation 72 hours before pick up time ( 3 business days) full  refund of deposit is made.

What kind of insurance is included in the price?

The vehicles are insured with third party insurance for material damages (excl: a) driver and passengers or b) vehicle of Europcar )

The above stand under the condition, that there was no violation of the Traffic Regulation. No insurance covers damages on the tires, wheels, windshields, windows, damages on the under part and the inside of the vehicle and thief of personal belongings. If you need any extra insurance you can refer to the file: Terms of Use.

Is it possible to add an additional driver?

Yes, additional drivers can be added free of charge.

The only requirements are that any additional driver must fulfill the terms and conditions of hire and that they must be declared before the hire period begins so as to be covered by the insurance.

Are child seats available?

Child seats for children of all ages are available at no extra cost.

Is an international driving licence necessary?

No, it is not necessary. All that you need is a valid driver's license that has been held for at least one year. Only citizens of nonEU countries should have an international driving license along with the presence of their regular one.

Is there an age limit for drivers who want to hire a car?

The minimum age is 21.

Are cars available with automatic transmission?

Yes, our fleet includes cars with automatic transmission. All you have to do is to decide which car meets your needs.

Is it possible to extend the hire period?

Yes, as long as we are informed as soon as possible, especially during high season.

Can I pick-up and drop-off the car anywhere on the island?

Yes, pick-up and drop-off can take place in any part of the island without any additional charges.

Are there certain times when I can pick-up or drop-off the car?

Pick-up and drop-off of vehicles is possible 24 hours a day.

How do I pick-up the car?

If you are collecting the vehicle anywhere on the island apart from our offices, one of our employees will be waiting for you with a sign writing your name. On your part, you must have your driving license with you.

When I pick-up the car will there be fuel in it?

Yes. Your only obligation is to ensure that when you return the vehicle it has the same amount of fuel as upon collection. If the car is dropped off with less fuel the client will be charged with the difference .No refund will be given for returning the car with more fuel that it was picked up.

Is it difficult to find petrol stations?

No. There are many petrol stations on the whole island. Of course our employees are at your disposal whenever you want to know where your nearest one is.

Does your company policy allow me to transport the hired car to another island?

No you cannot transport the hired car to another island except Kimolos Island. You should be aware of the fact that during sea transport, the company does not cover you for damage or loss of the vehicle and in case of accident or breakdown in Kimolos road assistance will be there delayed.

What do I have to do in case of an accident?

In case of accident the renter should inform the company and the police and provide us with a copy of the police report. If the renter is responsible for the accident, the renter is extra charged with 15 Euros for Accident Management service.

What should I do if the car breaks down?

In the unfortunate event of a breakdown you should call usimmediately and an experienced mechanic will be with you.

Our company offers 24/7 roadside assistance.

If there is a delay in drop-offing the car what will happen?

If you need to extend the hire period then you should contact us so that we can check availability. If you do not give us early notice there will be extra charges apply. For delays of more than 1 hour will incur a charge equivalent to the daily hire rate.
